Mrs. Dorothy Haymaker, 77, of Lenora, N.C., died this morning in a hospital at Lenora. She was a former Crawfordsville resident. She was a retired school teacher and member of First Presbyterian Church at Lenora. She was a graduate of Lindenwood College at St. Charles, Mo. She was born Nov. 13, 1900, at Terre Haute, a daughter of Charles and Mary Lucinda Millikan Taylor. She married Willis Graham Haymaker Sr. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Charles E. at home, Willis G. Jr. of San Francisco, and James M. of Pfeiffer College, N.C.; a daughter, Martha Haymaker of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church at Lenora. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Greer-McPhaul Funeral Home at Lenora is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Dorothy Haymaker Memorial Fund at First Presbyterian Church, Lenora.--waw
